So Thursday was a birthday well spent. After a restful day of a Dentist appointment, video games and sleeping I went to a nice dinner with my wife to a new pizza place. The establishment specialized in gourmet pizzas with all locally grown ingredients.
Friday was spent back at work. After a full day I hung out with friends, dinner at a nice cafe that features a hookah, then we took in a comedy show, which was a birthday present from one of my friends.
The weekend has come and went. I spent most starting projects around the house. So we have been in the house slightly over a year and lately we have felt that it still does not feel like it is ours. This is partly because we have not done much to personalize it. So we decided to paint our second bath room which was an atrocious variation of orange. We spent both days going to the hardware store looking at paint colors and buying supplies. We picked a blue color finally, and started prepping the space. Hopefully we will start actually painting this weekend. We are also trying to think of other things that we can do to make the house feel more like our home and not just our house. If anyone has any ideas please I am all ears.
So in considering taking on more home projects, we have also been considering our expenses. We keep debating the idea to get rid of Cable and just have internet. Has anyone cut the cord and gone strictly to internet? Do you substitute with services like Hulu and Netflix? Anyone have any advise? pros and cons?
